Team Edge is a family that competes aggressively, yet supports each other with as much passion. Team Edge is unique to the skating world and is focused on providing a well rounded training experience. Team Edge has coaches experienced in training all levels from beginner through National and International levels. The coaches teach the fundamental skills, but also the intangibles, such as choreography, costuming, and sports psychology. Team Edge's store, The Edge Skate Shop, provides top of the line equipment and skate services to our team members. Team Edge is the Total Package.
Andrew settled in West Orange, New Jersey and created Team Edge to establish a team culture for this very individual sport. He stopped touring in 2010 to focus on coaching the next generation of figure skaters. Andrew's coaching style is heavily influenced by his former coaches and his own experiences. One of Andrew's early coaches was with Tamara Moskvina at Yubileyny at Sports Palace in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Andrew also trained with Kerry Leitch, Candandian Pairs Olympic Coach, in Ontario, Canada. Finally, Andrew trained with John Nicks in Costa Mesa, CA. John is famous for his own championships, but also for training Peggy Fleming, Tai Babaloni and Randy Gardner, and Sasha Cohen.
